A Nerds Guide: To Life

I believe that my original promise of writing every Saturday is one that I will be incapable of actually keeping, as will any promise of writing during the weekdays. I honestly did not anticipate the sheer exhaustion I would experience at the end of every single day. So in the interests of actually being truthful I will be writing every weekend, either Saturday or by Sunday. This promise, as proven the previous two posts is one I will be capable of living up to. Now news about my first week of 12th grade. Monday morning I woke up a full twenty minutes before my alarm, out of sheer fright over what this year would start off as. Although I didn't really have much to worry about seeing as this year is shaping out to be rather good, but its only been a week so can't really say anything just yet. the rest of the week past in relative peace, although it is extremely likely that I will have to study physics off of the internet seeing as the new physics teacher the school has employe

So..... I am seriously sorry for not posting this yesterday! My first post and I'm already late! School officially starts tomorrow- for me anyway- and today was mother's day. Hence the crème caramel picture above. I made it for my mum and she loved it, which was great since I have a habit of overdosing on the "sweet" part of sweet bakes. For all that I love spicy or otherwise savory food, I am awful at actually making them. Anyway, on the topic of school tomorrow... I'll be honest I probably didn't pay as much attention to my studies as I should have. My uniforms, which set out for the mysterious land of ''dry washing'' have not come home yet, so I will probably be going to school in clothes that the principal will probably not approve of on the basis that they are not school issue. So.... hi. I'm Cheryl, and I'm just an average nerd trying to navigate life, hopefully staying in one piece while I'm at it. I am extremely fond of reading and consequently of stringing words together and hoping they sound good. The problem with being the only nerd in your entire class is that, you don't really have an audience to practice on. Which is why I'm staring this blog. I'm going to write here, and if anyone ever stumbles upon my works and thinks they are worth some constructive criticism then... I'm all ears.
